Add your signature to Apple Mail

  1. Copy your signature from Hancock using the Copy signature button.
  2. From the Mail app, click Mail then Preferences in the top left of your screen.
  3. From the Preferences popup, head to the Signatures tab.
  4. Click the + button at the bottom of the middle column.
  5. Uncheck Always match my default message font if it is checked.
  6. Paste the signature you just copied in the column on the right. (Don’t worry if the SoftIron logo doesn’t show up. It will.)
  7. Leave Choose signature set to None, and uncheck Place signature above quoted text. I mean, it’s a lovely signature, but let’s not bombard people with it. Simply include it on the start of a new email thread, short and sweet.
  8. Close the Preferences popup, and go write some emails!

Add your signature to Outlook

Windows

  1. Copy your signature from Hancock using the Copy signature button.
  2. From Outlook’s Message menu, select Signature > Signatures.
  3. Under Select signature to edit, choose New, and in the New Signature dialog box, type a name for your signature.
  4. Right-click in the Edit signature editor and under Paste options select Keep Source Formatting.
  5. Under Choose default signature, choose your SoftIron email account. Select the new signature for New messages, and leave Replies/forwards as (none).
  6. Click OK to save your new signature, and go write some emails!

Mac

  1. Copy your signature from Hancock using the Copy signature button.
  2. From the Outlook app, click Outlook then Preferences in the top left of your screen.
  3. From the Preferences popup, head to the Signatures section.
  4. Click the + button at the bottom of the signatures list.
  5. Name the signature something memorable, and paste the signature you just copied into the editor. (Dark mode can make this a little difficult to preview. Try Switch Background for a clearer view). Hit Cmd+S or close and choose Save to save changes.
  6. Back in the Signatures popup, select your SoftIron account, and apply the signature to New messages. Leave Replies/Forwards set to None. I mean, it’s a lovely signature, but let’s not bombard people with it.
  7. Close the Preferences popup, and go write some emails!

Add your signature to Rackspace Webmail

  1. Copy your signature from Hancock using the Copy signature button.
  2. Log into your Rackspace account at https://apps.rackspace.com.
  3. From your account settings menu in the top-right () in the top right, go to Settings.
  4. From the Settings popup, select the Composing email section, and jump to the Signatures tab.
  5. Click on the Add New Signature button. This will open (yet another!) popup, where you can name your signature. Select Enable formatting, paste the signature you just copied into the Edit Signature field and click OK.
  6. With your signature created, check Always show signature when composing an email. Leave the other options unchecked. I mean, it's a lovely signature, but let’s not bombard people with it.
  7. Click Save, head back to your Inbox, and go write some emails!

Add your signature to Thunderbird

  1. Copy your signature from Hancock using the Copy signature code button/
  2. In the Thunderbird app, click Tools then Account Settings from the main menu.
  3. In your account settings popup, you’ll find the Default identity section.
  4. For Signature text: check the Use HTML checkbox.
  5. Paste the signature code you copied earlier into the Signature text field.
  6. Click OK to apply your changes, and go write some emails!
